Self-Editing for Fiction Writers

Self-Editing for Fiction Writers
by Renni Browne and Dave King

In this completely revised and updated second edition, Renni Browne and Dave King teach you, the writer, how to apply the editing techniques they have developed to your own work. Each point is illustrated with examples, many drawn from the hundreds of books Browne and King have edited. (description taken from

Another good book with plenty of tips for someone seriously trying to get into writing. With both a tips checklist and exercises at the end of the chapter, there are plenty of chances to practice the principles shown. The examples were well done and I thought the dialogue and interior monologue sections were especially well done.
